Passification-based adaptive control: Uncertain input and output delays
نویسندگان
چکیده
For a class of uncertain systems we analyze passification-based adaptive controller in the presence of small, unavoidable input and output time-varying delays as may be present in controller implementation. We derive upper bounds for time delays such that in some domain of initial conditions the states of the closed-loop system tend to zero, whereas an adaptive controller gain tends to a constant value. The results are semi-global, that is the domain of initial conditions is bounded but can bemade arbitrary large by tuning an appropriate controller parameter. For the first time, we apply an adaptive controller to linear uncertain networked control systems, where sensors, controllers, and actuators exchange their information through communication networks. The efficiency of the results is demonstrated by the example of adaptive network-based control of an aircraft. © 2015 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Robust adaptive L2-gain control of polytopic MIMO LTI systems - LMI results
Passification-based direct adaptive control is considered for polytopic uncertain linear time-invariant multi-input multi-output systems. Linear Matrix Inequality based results are provided to guarantee that the adaptive algorithm passifies the system whatever the uncertain parameters in some given set. The contributions are based on the introduction of a parallel feed-forward shunt that libera...
متن کاملDecentralized Model Reference Adaptive Control of Large Scale Interconnected Systems with Time-Delays in States and Inputs
This paper investigates the problem of decentralized model reference adaptive control (MRAC) for a class of large scale systems with time varying delays in interconnected terms and state and input delays. The upper bounds of the interconnection terms are considered to be unknown. Time varying delays in the nonlinear interconnection terms are bounded and nonnegative continuous functions and thei...

متن کاملRobust and Adaptive Passification Based Consensus Control of Dynamical Networks
An output synchronization problem for networks of dynamical agents is examined based on passification method and recent results in graph theory. Static delayed output feedback controllers of two types are investigated and an adaptive control is proposed. Sufficient conditions for synchronization under incomplete measurements and incomplete control are established. Example of the adaptive synchr...
متن کاملOutput-feedback Control of Nonlinear Delayed Systems: a Dynamic High-gain Scaling Approach
The output-feedback control problem for nonlinear systems with state and input delays is addressed. Both state and input delays are allowed to be time-varying and uncertain. The class of systems considered consists of a nominal system of strictfeedback form as well as appended dynamics and inverse dynamics. A delay-independent robust adaptive feedback is designed based on our recent results on ...
